Now Hiring: Event Setup Contractor (Must Have Own SUV or Van)

📍 Based in Mississauga | Part-Time Contract | $30–$40/hr

 

Experience Events is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Event Setup Contractor to help bring our luxury event setups to life. We specialize in marriage proposals, luxury picnics, and tablescapes for micro-events like birthdays and baby showers.

 

This is a hands-on, flexible contract role paid hourly with paid downtime – perfect for someone who loves working behind the scenes and has a strong eye for detail.

 

🔧 What You’ll Do:

• Pick up event equipment from our Mississauga-based storage

• Transport equipment to event locations (studios or outdoor spaces)

• Set up and style events following our design and quality standards

• Clean, repack, and return equipment to storage post-event

 

✅ What You Need:

• Must have your own SUV, van, or cargo vehicle that can carry larger items

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Evening and weekend availability (majority of events occur during these times)

• Based in Mississauga or nearby for convenient access to storage

• Reliable, punctual, comfortable speaking with clients, and detail-oriented

• No prior event experience needed – we provide full training

 

💼 Details:

• Contractor position – paid $30–$40/hour

• Hours vary depending on event bookings 15+ hours a week

• Flexible scheduling with notice

• Paid hourly for setup, teardown, and wait time
